Cold Rain Pond publishes micro and flash fiction — very short stories, shared among a small circle of friends.

What we're looking for: complete, very short fiction, roughly 1,000 words or fewer. The shorter and stranger and truer, the better. Any genre.

How to send it: paste your piece straight into the box, upload a file, or drop a link — whatever's easiest.

A few notes: one piece at a time, please. Simultaneous submissions are fine — just tell us if it finds a home elsewhere. We read everything and try to reply within a few weeks.
